Accommodation and gala dinner
Overnight accommodation will be provided at Cranfield Management Development Centre (CMDC), based on campus here at Cranfield.
Ensuite rooms include double beds, TV, radio, CD/tape player, mini-fridge, electric fan, direct dial telephone, broadband access, modem point, tea/coffee making facilities, ironing centre, garment press, hair-dryer and well-lit working area.
Leisure facilities include a large bar, restaurant, indoor heated swimming pool, sauna and mini gym
Wednesday's gala dinner will be provided at the wonderful Sculpture Gallery at Woburn Abbey. This excellent venue, set within the famous Woburn Estate, has roots dating back to the 12th Century and is now home to the 15th Duke of Bedford and his family.

Travel information
From London and the South
M1 north to junction 13. Take A421 in direction of Bedford, then immediately first left, signposted to Salford and Cranfield University, first right at Salford. Go straight across the first roundabout, right at the second, then left at the third. At the mini-roundabout (Garage on your left) turn right, the entrance to the university is first right - signposted 'Main Reception'.
From Birmingham and the North
M1 south to junction 14. Take A509 in direction of Wellingborough, then immediately first right, proceed through Moulsoe, then turn left following signposts.
From Bedford and the East
A428-A422 west to Astwood (7m), then left following signposts. Or A421 south-west through Kempston then right through Wootton (5m) following signposts.
From Oxford and the West
Follow A34, then A421, to Bicester, Buckingham and Milton Keynes. In Milton Keynes follow signs to M1 North (junction 14). Then proceed as from Birmingham and the North.
Rail travel
- Bedford Midland Road on London St.Pancras - Leicester line. A bus service is available from Bedford to Cranfield University.
- Milton Keynes Central on London Euston - North and North West line. Frequent, fast services. A bus service is available from Milton Keynes bus station (very near to the Railway Station) to Cranfield University

Air travel
London Luton from here you can catch a train direct from Luton Airport Parkway station to Bedford. London Luton is also situated just off Junction 10 of the M1. For more information on the airport, click here.

Parking
The development of activities on the Cranfield campus has necessitated the introduction of a formal car parking management scheme which applies to all staff, students, visitors, tenants and contractors. Vehicle Permits are required on all vehicles parking on the Cranfield campus.
Visitor Vehicle Permits can either be issued to visitors prior to their arrival or created on the day.
Visitor Permit - prior to arrival
Permits can be issued prior to your arrival by contacting Security and providing them with the details of the vehicle(s) due to park on campus - vehicle registration, name of the person you are visiting and the length of visit. The Visitor Permit can then be collected them from Security on arrival to campus.

Visitor Permit - on the day
Should it not be possible to arrange for a Visitor Permit to be issued in advance, visitors will need to visit Security on arrival to collect a parking permit.
